I thought todays episode of The Screen Savers was very good and funny. But, it is sort of sad to see the old set go. But, change is good.

Jims Mobile Edition Website - I'm still working on it. If you have a pocket pc with 802.11b wireless internet access it should work. A 802.11b compact flash card for the pocket pc should also work. It worked on mine.
Well, It looks like they finally figured it out and set a date for Six Flags. We will try again on September 7th. All I ask for is one fun day. Is that to much to ask for? I think I am going to build my own computer system. The Screen Savers today inspired me.

If I want something like a laptop, pocket pc, or xbox I will go out and buy it myself. I will not ask someone to use there stuff. That and I live in Texas. But, the search for a new laptop continues. I went to Winbook.com last night and was impressed with there selection. Also, micropro.com has some good prices. But, I like the Dell name and brand. I think I will go to Gateway and look there....
I want a laptop. I am looking at the Dell 2650. I went to Dell's website and customized a 8200 and when I got done it came out to be $1,868. I'm sorry that just won't be happening. For you guys that have a Dell 8100 you are lucky. You know who you are! I had a Fujitsu. I sold it on ebay. I guess it was a good thing to do, it had some problems. And today my mother shocked me. She said that she is going to go look at trucks. When my mother talks like that you know something is going to happen down the road. She said she wanted to look at the Ford Rangers, Dodge Dakota, and then Toyota.

I wish I still had my laptop. Well, it did have problems and I am glad I don't have to worry about it anymore. I just like having a computer that was mobile. My next purchase will be a laptop. I don't care if it is used or new. My next laptop will have a dvd and a video out on it. That would be great.

Hey, it's Friday! We're not airing a live show today. But that doesn't mean we're taking the day off. Actually, we're hard at work, preparing for our new set construction.
In case you haven't heard, we're getting a new set. So while it's being built, we're going to do the show from the Tech Live set. On Friday, we're having rehearsal on the Tech Live set, so we're not totally clueless when we move. Set construction starts the first week in September.
Have a good weekend!

I got a ATI TV Wonder VE for my computer. What is an ATI TV Wonder VE you might say? It will allow me to watch tv on my computer and capture it and save it to an AVI video file. It did not work with Windows XP. They said that it would, but it did not.
I even took the time to download the huge files to make it work. Nothing. I am alittle bit upset with them right now. But I took it
back to Wal-Mart and got my money back. So I guess that is a good thing. Apple has come out with an ipod for Windows users. I also like the new 17" inch flat panel LCD Imacs.

The yard sale went very well for me. I will have enough to get new glasses. Went and looked at some and I found a pair of Tommy Hilfiger glasses that l liked. But first I have to have an eye exam. My current glasses fell on the ground and I did not know about it and my dog Gretchen got hold of them. They have teeth marks all over them. I can still wear them but they are damaged. The lenes are all scratched up. That is my fault. No I will not wear contacts. Good Night!

Drinking Too Much Water Can Kill You: Report
"A new review of three deaths of US military recruits highlights the dangers of drinking too much water. The military has traditionally focused on the dangers associated with heat illness, which has killed a number of healthy, young enrollees, Colonel John W. Gardner of the Office of the Armed Forces Medical Examiner in Rockville, Maryland told Reuters Health. However, pushing the need to drink water too far can also have deadly consequences, he said. "The risk has always been not drinking enough," Gardner said. "And then people who aren't medically attuned get overzealous," inducing recruits to drink amounts of water that endanger their health, he added."

{Better get Maaco} Okay, admit it - seeing some rich dude's fancy BMW get smashed beyond recognition makes you feel pretty good, doesn't it? I mean, as long as no one was hurt. Well, Wrecked Exotics is filled with photos of expensive automobiles that have been totaled, smashed, crushed, or smooshed (some have even been completely mangled). There's even a message board where you can discuss the wrecks with other auto enthusiasts. "No matter what your preference; Lamborghini Diablo, Ferrari 360 Modena, Dodge Viper, or even the 'high end' exotics; Mclaren F1, Bugatti, Ferrari F50... your desire to see these fine exotics destroyed will be satisfied within this Web site." Something tells me I'll never own a car expensive enough to be considered for this hall of shame.

Well once again I find myself in the public library using their high speed internet which I love. If I get this job at Wal-Mart I will have money. I plain to use some of it to get DSL. I want high speed internet access in my life. The one thing that I enjoy doing on the internet is watching streaming video. That is hard to do on 56K dial-up modem. Plus I would like to download mp3s at lighting speed. Last night I downloaded a 38MB P.O.D. video and it took 4 hours. But I got it and turned it into a videoCD. Now if I really wanted to spend money I would buy a wireless rounter and have all my gadgets connected through it. I would love to get a 802.11b card for my HP Jornada and be over at the church or anywhere in the coverage area and be able to get on the internet. Today I am going to see some good friends in Corsicana so I am looking forward to that. Original Post Date for this blog was at 3:24 PM on Tuesday, June 11, 2002
