Today I was suppose to go to LazarX with my youth group but it closed on Jan. 18th. Update: We went to the mall in Tyler and ate at Ci Ci Pizza. Not to much fun

iPod

I got my iPod yesterday at Best Buy. They had the 15 Gig. This thing is so light and thin. The touch sensitive buttons are so cool. I barely touch them and they respond. Firewire is so fast. It transferred all of my music in iTunes in under 20 seconds. The back already has scratches on it. That’s ok. I knew about that when I decided to get it that the back would get scratched easily. And figure prints show up on it too. I am very happy with it. This truly is a very cool device.

The iTunes Music Store is now offering customizable RSS Newsfeeds for use in newsreaders such as Ranchero's NetNewsWire. You can create feeds based on your preferences of type of music and which list you want to watch, such as New Releases, Top Songs, Top Albums, and more.

EBay pulls plug on auction of W.Va.

Nothing to blog

There is nothing to blog about. I am just waiting for next week. I get my iPod. But, I am not sure that the stores will have the 15 Gig model yet. So I am not sure what I am going to do. I might have to wait longer or get it off the Apple store online. At least if I do get it online I get free engraving. The 365 Project that I was working on is dead.

Windows app closely mimics Apple's Exposé

This is a very cool. You know that neat feature that Apple came up with called
Exposé. Well, a windows software maker has just released a utility called WinExposé. It costs $10, and is available for Windows ME through XP.

HP and Apple today announced a strategic alliance to deliver an HP-branded digital music player based on Apple’s iPod, the number one digital music player in the world, and Apple’s award-winning iTunes digital music jukebox and pioneering online music store to HP's customers.

iPod Mini

Apple today has announced that they are moving the 10GB iPod up to 15GB with the same price of $299. They also just announced the iPod Mini. 4GB hard drive holds up to 70 hours of music. Touch-sensitive Click Wheel. It will sell for $249. It will hold 1,000 songs and it is about the size of a business card. It has a dock and armband. It also will come in colors. Available in the US in February and worldwide in April. Note: I do not like the iPod Mini. For $50 dollars more I can get more storage and all the accessories that are already out for the iPod. Update: I like the iPod mini.

Hard Drive

I have 10 GB hard drive and it is almost full. I only have 700 MB free to use. Is that sad or what? I wish I had the money to get a larger hard drive. But I don't and probably never will. I have alot of digital pictures and digital video. I do alot of video capturing. I have a CD-RW but it is a peace of junk. It only works when it wants to. My dream system if I could have one would be:

New Year

Happy New Year Everyone! I have decided to start a project that I am going to take one picture for everyday in 2004. I have setup a moblog here. I hope I can do this. Should I explain what the picture is? Or should I just leave it blank?
