Xbox blues

I got my xbox on August 6th 2002 and today it finally stopped working. I put a game disc in it and it does not recognize it. I called Microsoft and they did not help me. I am going to have to pay $99 dollars for them to fix it. It still plays dvds and music cds. I am so mad right now. Update: My Microsoft Optical IntelliMouse Explorer broke.
