    Digital Life

My Canon Powershot A70 is working now. I guess it was the batteries that I was using. They are the Rayovac Rechargeable Nimh. They worked fine until vacation. That or my camera got wet from the cold weather. I don't know what happened. I am just glad it is working. I almost went to Office Depot and bought the Powershot A75. I am glad I don't have too.

    I win

I made a bid on ebay for a Microsoft Fingerprint reader and won. After 11 days I had not received my item. I sent emails and even tried to call the seller. Nothing. When I made the bid the guy had 100% positive feedback. After 11 days that went down. So I got scammed on ebay. I felt cheated and robbed. Which I was. I alerted paypal on what happen. And after 30 days of not getting a response from the seller I got my money back. So I guess I won.

    Rangers, fans scuffle in Oakland

As many of you know there was a fight between the fans and a Texas Ranger in Oakland at the baseball game last night. Frank Francisco hoisted a folding chair into the stands, striking a woman and breaking her nose. He was arrested on a charge of aggravated battery. As a fan of the Texas Rangers this conduct saddens me. I think he should be suspended. The bullpen is very close to the fans. So virbal abuse is probably very high. This is a problem at Oakland and in Finway. It is sad. Because it was really a shocker of a game. It is sad that this has happened. A Statement from Tom Hicks. (Link includes video)

The Rangers game was great fun. I forgot how much fun going to a baseball game was. The last time I went to a Rangers game was on August 23, 1997. I sat in section 332 row 22 seat 18. They played against the Chicogo White Sox. I can't remember if they won or not. I wonder if there is a way to find out? I took some pictures that are on my moblog. I took two panorama pictures which you can click on below. The Rangers played against the Baltimore Orioles. The final score was 6-4.

My new video card is installed and running great. I am already seeing better performance on some programs and in Windows. I am going to ask to borrow my friends copy of Halo now that I have a graphics card that can handle it. I hooked my computer up to the tv. It worked but I won't be doing anything with it. I have InterVideo WinDVD Platinum.
