Bad Weather

We had a real bad storm last night and I think it hit my modem. There was a very big lighting bolt that hit Subway behind my house. How would I know that you ask? I had my window open and was looking at all the lighting when it strikes. It scared me to death. Today Subway did not have power at all. I bought a new video card and it should be here on Saturday.

Tech, Friends, and Life.

I have decided to combine my two blogs Jim's tech news and Jim's blog into one blog. It will make things easier. My new 120 GB hard drive came yesterday. I was running out of room on my hard drive. I had to uninstall programs to just to make room. Well, not anymore. I had to partition the hard drive. The first time around I messed it up. But I figured out what I did wrong and it works now. We are having a revival at my church and it is going very well. Work is going good. I wish I could find more though.

I want to go back to Teen Mania to be in the CCM (Center of Creative Media) program. They produce the shows for ATF and all of Teen Mania's videos that they use for missions and extreme camps. I would be trained in: Producing (from conception to completion), Writing, Camera, Audio, Lighting, Editing (AVID), Directing, and Graphics Design. I would love to do this with a passion. I would be a GI (graduate Intern) and it would be for two years. But the program cost $1500 dollars a month. And I don't know how that is going to happen. The program is almost like going to Full Sail. And it cost about the same. But Full Sail is in Flordia.

Happy 4th of July

I hope everyone has a happy and safe 4th of July. I had a great time at Celebrate Freedom 2004. You can check out the pictures on my moblog. I did not stay for the fireworks. It was my decision not to. But, I did get to ride with my friends up to the event. I saw John Marshall while I was there. He was a volunteer at Teen Mania when I was there. So that was cool. My town is putting on their fireworks display tonight so I will get to see some fireworks after all.

Movie

I went Wednesday and saw the movie Spider-Man 2. I thought it was a great movie. They had alot of surprises in this movie. Stuff that you would think that they would not do. The story line was excellent and very well thought out. The acting was very good. There is one scene where Peter is trying to save a little girl from a building that is on fire and he almost falls through the floor and the little girl helps him up. It did not look right. A little girl would not have the strength to pull him up. The special effects were extremely good. Go see it. I added Googles Adsense to my website. I don't control the ads. Some of them are crazy. It will be text or an image.
