CherryOS Rereleased

A trial version of the CherryOS Mac emulator is once again available for download from the Maui X-Stream website. The $50 Windows software purportedly emulates a G4 processor, allowing a Windows XP machine to run Mac OS X. Via: Kevinrose.com

I can't access my hotmail account. It is the profile that I use for my .net passport. I can access another hotmail account that is newer. And it is not a passport account. The website saids:

Virus

I got a virus today. It was a trojan horse called proxy.16.Z. Well it is gone now. The AVG software caught it. But just to be safe i downloaded Norton Antivirus 2005 just to make sure it was gone.

Free $199 Software

I contacted Microsoft with a couple of questions about formatting my hard drive and re-installing the OS. My copy of Windows XP Home Edition is the upgrade version. I was not sure if I could do a full clean install with it. I got an email back from Microsoft support today that said they are sending me the full version of Windows XP Home edition for free. So that is cool. I picked up a Microsoft Fingerprint Reader today at Sam's Club. So all my fingers are registered and work with it. The only down side is that it does not work with firefox.

    Digital Life

    My Canon Powershot A70 is working now. I guess it was the batteries that I was using. They are the Rayovac Rechargeable Nimh. They worked fine until vacation. That or my camera got wet from the cold weather. I don't know what happened. I am just glad it is working. I almost went to Office Depot and bought the Powershot A75. I am glad I don't have too.

    I win

    I made a bid on ebay for a Microsoft Fingerprint reader and won. After 11 days I had not received my item. I sent emails and even tried to call the seller. Nothing. When I made the bid the guy had 100% positive feedback. After 11 days that went down. So I got scammed on ebay. I felt cheated and robbed. Which I was. I alerted paypal on what happen. And after 30 days of not getting a response from the seller I got my money back. So I guess I won.

    This is terrible. The new host for The Screen Savers is Kevin Pereira, and Chi-Lan Lieu. Kevin Rose was given a choice either host the new show, or create content. He decided to go back to what he loves, which is create content. Sarah Lane will remain
    where she is. The new TSS will kick off on Monday 29th. I just don't know if I am happy about this.

    Crash

    Yesterday there was a bad wreck in the church parking lot next to my house. I did not see it because I was asleep. What happen was a truck lost control flipped over and skidded across the church parking lot. I wish I could have seen it. No word on if the person is ok or not.
