Got a virus

I just got the I-Worm/Netsky.B virus from someone I did not know. My AVG Anti-Virus software found it and removed the attachment. It put the attachment in the virus vault. I guess this proves that the free editon of AVG does work. I did run a complete test and it did not find anything. I think I am safe.

I won a free song from the Ben & Jerry's ETOV Turn It Around Sweepstakes. It is sort of cool being on iTunes Music Store Birthday.

I am going to Austin for a youth convention this weekend. Should be good.

Leo Laporte is back on TechTV!

Yes, you heard right. Leo is returning to TechTV to do the show Call For Help. The petition that was going around has generated 3328 Total Signatures. That does not even account for all the emails that Vulcan and Comcast received. This is a good thing. I just hope that from all the show of support for Leo and Call For Help that they keep the show on the air.

Day of Praise

Update for my post on April 08, 2004. Tonight we fixed my friends Gator. It was his dad that did most of the work. If you look at it you can't tell it had been wrecked. He pushed the metal frame back into place and fixed the light. He even fixed the plastic hood. It was torn up. No more cracks in it. It really is amazing. My friend took pictures of before and after. I will try to get them. His camera is a Sony. And it uses a memory stick. I don't have a reader for it. UPDATE: The Gator sold at the auction.

I can't believe it. TechTV has asked Chris Pirillo to be a guest host for Call For Help. I just don't believe it. A loss of words...

Day of Hell

Today has been the day of hell. The steering in my friends John Deere Gator locked up and I hit a tree. The front is all torn up. They were really nice when I went and told them. But, I feel bad. I can't afford to fix it or replace it. It just has been a bad day.

iPod stuff

Here are some accessories that I want for my iPod that I probably will never get.

1. iPod Remote and Earbuds - With this I can fast forward, rewind, play/pause, and control the volume while the iPod is in my pocket.
2. Belkin Battery Pack - The battery on the iPod is not the greatest.
3. iPod Dock - I want this more then anything. I can charge and sync in this stylish dock.
4. Sony Car Cassette Adapter - So I can listen to my iPod in the car.
5. Belkin Auto Charger w/Audio for iPod - So I don't use the battery up when in the car.
6. Belkin TuneDok Car Holder - Need a safe place to put my iPod in the car.
7. eXo2 Skin for 10/15 GB iPod - For Protection.

Chris Pirillo of Lockergnome.com has launched their own Blogging Network. They offer 3 different accounts blogbasic, blogplus and blogTrial. Prices range from $10, $15 dollars a month. The free trial is for 30 days and you are limited to 5 MB storage and 5 MB bandwidth. You can also only make 5 post per day. You can upgrade to a blogbasic or blogplus account at the end of the trial. You can choose to have your own domain name or one of their domains which is lockergnome.net, gnomeblogs.com, or gnomeblog.com. This looks like it could be cool. Chris has his own blog here.

Jeopardy

One of my mothers family members is going to be on Jeopardy this week. Her name is Becky Galipeau. If you go to Jeopardy.com and click on "This week on Jeopardy" you can see a small video. I can't tell you how much she won. You will just have to watch. I believe her show will air on March 31st.

Ripley's

I went to Ripley's Believe It Or Not today. I had the best time. That place is so cool. Look at my moblog for pictures. The world's tallest man was so cool. I took a picture (not in moblog) of me next to him and I was so small. And there was a real peace of coal from the Titanic ship. Plus look at the giant lobster. And there was a vest made out of human hair. This place was so cool. You should go to one if it is near you.
