YouTube? [Updated]
Should I remove all my videos that I have on YouTube.com? I have moved most of them to Veoh.com beause the quality is better and they don't have a size limit. I have also noticed that my videos are getting more views over there. They don't however have a private video feature. I emailed them and they said that this is something they are looking into. They have serveral other features that are very cool. You can upload videos by a URL or RSS. You also have the choice to download the videos in the iPod or psp formats. I just don't like where YouTube is going. I really would like some feedback on this one.

Star Trek XI in 2008

Looks like there is going to be a new Star Trek movie in 2008. And J.J. Abrams is one of the producers. J.J. also has the option to direct. From the poster it looks like it is going to be set in Captain Kirk's time period. I really do hope that they make a good film.

New features in Google Talk
Google has some new features in Google Talk. The new features are being released to a limited number of testers. The new features are file transfer, voicemail, and music status. You can send unlimited files and folders to your friends. There is no restriction on the file type or size. You can now leave voicemail to your friends who are on Google Talk or not. They will receive a email with the message attached as an audio file. You can also download the mp3. Very cool. You can also let your friends see what you're listening to.

Hellodeo.com

The folks at odeo.com are turning out all kinds of cool websites this week. Like hellodeo.com which allows you to record video using your webcam. Then you can paste the code on your blog or myspace account. The player is very simple and easy to use.

Twttr.com

With Twttr you can send txt messages from your cell phone to your personal twttr website and keep all your friends updated. You can also use the interface on the website to post messages to your page. It is kind of like blogging from your cell phone. You can add friends by sending a text message including their telephone number and their name to the access number on the website. They will never share or display your number for any reason. You also get the option of keeping your page private. The service is free. The people behind Twttr are the same people that brought us Odeo.com. Also you might want to get a unlimited plan for your cell phone.
